Volunteers play an important role in providing excellent care and service to our residents and clients. There are many ways to become involved at Handmaker. Some opportunities are occasional, monthly, weekly, or daily and may be individuals, families, small groups, or large groups to meet a variety of needs.
These are just a few of the Volunteer opportunities available:
Lead board games, cards, exercises, dancing,
discussion or craft groups.
Sing, dance, play musical instruments, performing
arts.
Become a friend to a resident by visiting them,
going for walks or shopping.
Make holiday and birthday greetings.
Make quilts or lap robes for residents.
Assist with gardening or landscaping.
Provide clerical assistance.
Assist with events.
